You may ask why the balls is it that way. No Active Directory, No server roles, etc. We have a server that is currently setup as a Workgroup, so all our machines are independent. I work at a charter school in Michigan that hosts 420 lovely little children. If you want to get right to the issue, skip the background story in italics. I hope you guys are in for a crap load of writing and links. Cause when summer comes along and I have to ghost 200+ laptops.one at a time inst going to cut it.
After I finish with that I'll try and see if I can store images on my server and push them from there over the network. Works for 1 on 1 right now and I can knock out these 30 laptops in two days. Have started using clonezilla on a local level.creating and image and storing on a external HDD, and moving that external to a client and ghosting it over.
